The Story Behind SOL

At SOL Strength & Wellness, we believe strength is more than what you lift — it’s how you live.
Our mission is to help you reconnect with your body, rebuild confidence through movement, and find balance that lasts.

Founded by Hannah Olsen, SOL was created from a passion for helping others move, eat, and live with intention. After years of chasing perfection and pushing to be the smallest version of herself, Hannah discovered that true wellness doesn’t come from restriction or pressure — it comes from living in alignment with what your body, mind, and soul are asking for!

SOL Values

  • Strength with Purpose

Training should make everyday life feel easier — not drain you. We focus on building strength that carries into how you move, work, and show up in your world.

  • Sustainability over Perfection

No extremes. No all-or-nothing. Just habits and guidance that fit into real life and evolve with you over time.

  • Empowered By Education

Understanding your body transforms the way you care for it. We teach the “why” behind your training and nutrition so you can make empowered, informed choices.

  • Empathy at the Center

You bring your story, your schedule, and your lived experience — and those matter. We meet you exactly where you are, offering guidance that respects your life instead of ignoring it.

About Hannah,

B.S. Biomedical Sciences & Nutrition, NREMT-P, and ISSA-CPT & Nutritionist

My journey began in 2015 when I was caught in a cycle of overtraining and undereating—constantly trying to shrink myself and never feeling at home in my own body. No matter how hard I pushed, I felt exhausted, disconnected, and frustrated. That cycle lasted for years, until powerlifting shifted everything. Strength training became the first place where I learned to rebuild—not just my body, but my relationship with it. I started to see that real progress comes from nourishment and purposeful effort.

Still, my physical progress didn’t match how disconnected I felt internally. I dealt with hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and chronic stress that kept my body stuck in a constant fight-or-flight state. Working as a Paramedic only added to that load. I was always on alert, never slowing down, and over time that stress led to nervous system dysregulation and an even deeper disconnect from myself.

That became my turning point. I needed to understand why my body was reacting the way it was, which led me to explore the relationship between hormones, nutrition, training, stress, and emotional regulation. I realized how deeply they’re all interconnected—and how much they shape the way we feel, move, and show up each day.

Through this process, I learned that wellness isn’t just physical. True health is the integration of mind, body, and spirit—how you fuel yourself, how you speak to yourself, and how you honor both effort and rest.

What I discovered is that real strength comes from supporting your body, not fighting against it. It comes from understanding your physiology, listening to its signals, and building habits that feel grounding and sustainable.

Now, my mission is to help others build that same connection—to feel at home in their bodies and to develop strength that carries into every part of life.
